THE STRATEGY

Creative was divided into two phases: a smaller budget ad and a bigger budget ad. This approach provided cost-effective insights into the most impactful messaging and visuals for the larger campaign while generating sales and maintaining a strong ROI with the assets from the smaller campaign. The success of the initial ad led to an unexpected surge in sales, even during the traditionally slow January period.

THE EXECUTION

The first ad helped refine the value propositions, focusing on organization, hands-free convenience, and comfort. The second stage saw a larger-scale “hero lite” production, building on these insights with a modular script for full-length and short-form ads. These ads showcased diverse women in common purse-related situations, highlighting the bag’s key benefits. The strategy emphasized visual humor over verbal jokes, aiming for quick, memorable moments without relying on complex backstories.

THE RESULTS

Harmon Brothers’ content has been directly responsible for over 31% of Sash Bag’s revenue from November ‘22 through Oct ‘24 bringing in a total of $3.5M.

88% of all META revenue generated from the paid ads were from Harmon Brothers creative. 

Nearly 90% of the sales were coming from brand new customers with the ad targeting being left completely broad and open. 

Thumbstop ratios of HB content outperformed internal content by almost 4x. Sashbag’s internal content average: 16.86% HB content average: 60.32%

Reduced CPA by 18%

6.91 ROAS on HB content which outperformed client ROAS by 60% on average from jan-oct 2024
